21 Members completed Pump Operations Training this past Sunday with E-2, E-3 & T-6. The training was conducted by John Alston (Capt. JCFD Rescue 6) from A-Vision, LLC.
With classroom presentations and practical evolutions performed, this class was an excelent refresher for some of the seasoned FF's and Senior Officers and in turn a well rounded class for the novice drivers and Junior Officers who now have water supply theory and practical evolutions to add to their knowledge.
A drafting evolution with the Department's new 2011 E-One 2000 GPM Engine (E-2) finished the day off with 4 crews drafting from New Market Pond.
Good job by all who participated! And a special note: Congratulations to FF. Presley who overcame his fear of heights and succesfully climbed T-6 while it was elevated.
