Saturday, January 26, 2013 As published in Firenews.com, Truck 6 and Engine 1 was on scene for a roof rescue of an injured construction worker. As seen in the photo, Capt. Mike Campbell and FF Tim Thorn operating the truck as Lt. Mike Chevalier and Lt. Rich Jones stabilized the patient to be transferred to the ground for transport to the hospital.
Monday, November 26, 2012 On Monday 11/26/2012 at 1317 hours, New Market FD was dispatched to a reported possible structure fire at 600 Prospect Avenue, Ziegler Chemical. Upon arrival, there was heavy smoke in the area blowing across the roadway, once inside the complex heavy fire was pushing out of the second story structure. Monday, May 28, 2012 Once again New Market Fire Department participated in the American Legion's Annual Piscataway Memorial Day Parade. This year's parade made for an exceptional memory, as Lt. Sean Kelley proposed to his longtime girlfriend Angie while the Department and hundreds of residents looked on. This was soon followed by cheers and the sounds of sirens and air horns as she accepted. Congratulations to the newly engaged couple.

Sunday, April 8, 2012 New Market was dispatched to a reported MVA with entrapment on Washington Ave near Cumberland Rd. Once units arrived it was determined that the driver of the vehicle had already been extricated by Police units due to the severity of their injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Car-1, Unit-2 and Engine 2 remained on scene for light support while the Police Department conducted a serious motor vehicle accident investigation.more ]
